MEET THE TEAM
The people behind the productions.
Creative Director & Owner
Andrew Kirschman
Thirteen years in professional audio. Founder and Creative Director of AKA Event Productions. Andrew designs and delivers high-impact production experiences across Colorado — from 300-cap club shows to 10,000-person festivals — specializing in sound system engineering, immersive audio, lighting design, and full-scope production fulfillment.
In 2025, he co-designed and mixed the Audiosphere at Red Rocks Amphitheatre — the first 360-degree immersive surround sound deployment in the venue’s 100-year history, built in partnership with d&b audiotechnik and Brown Note Productions. Before Denver, he spent four seasons as Head Audio Engineer at Louisiana’s historic Strand Theatre, running Broadway tours through a heritage-protected 2,500-seat venue without cracking the plaster.
His background spans DSP system design, noise-impact analysis, sound propagation modeling, and navigating some of the strictest municipal noise ordinances in the country. When the technical stakes are high and the margin for error is zero, that’s where Andrew operates best.
The Foundation
Anna Sheffield
Anna Sheffield didn’t build speaker arrays or program lighting cues — she built the environment that made everything else possible. While Andrew spent years on the road engineering tours and chasing the vision that would become AKA Event Productions, Anna held it all together at home, believing in a company that didn’t exist yet.
During that time, she earned her Master’s degree — building her own future while quietly sustaining someone else’s dream. That kind of commitment doesn’t show up on a tech rider or a production advance, but it’s woven into every show AKA has ever produced.
Some contributions don’t come with a job title. This one deserves a page.
Shop Manager
Abraham Reyes
Abraham Reyes keeps AKA’s entire production inventory running like a well-oiled machine. As Shop Manager, he oversees logistics, maintenance, and deployment prep — making sure every piece of gear is show-ready before it leaves the warehouse.
He also serves as an Audio Technician, stepping into the field for events to handle audio setups, operate consoles, and deliver crisp, reliable sound from load-in to last note.
Great production is built on preparation, and Abraham takes pride in making sure that foundation is solid — from the shop floor to front of house.
Audio Engineer
Morgan McNeece
A veteran live sound engineer, Morgan thrives in the heart of the music — blending technical expertise with artistic intuition to craft immersive sonic experiences for audiences of every scale. With a meticulous ear for detail, he ensures every note resonates crisply and every beat pulses with energy.
From intimate venues to grand festival stages, Morgan orchestrates seamless audio productions, translating artistic vision into auditory brilliance. Whether mixing front of house or managing monitors, he continually pushes the boundaries of live sound reinforcement, embracing new technologies and techniques to elevate every performance.
Each show is a unique opportunity to create magic in the moment — and Morgan brings that mindset to every mix.
